Default YouTube

Hi,
I just got my N96 on Tuesday from Vodafone. The unlimited internet and all that.
I notice there is a feature in Applications for YouTube.
I type in the video I want to watch and it comes to me badly pixilated and the sound is fragmented, too.
Where as a friend of mine has an iphone, his plays YouTube really well.

Do I have to tinker with things?
Or is it just crap at allowing video in?

Please bear in mind, I'm a technaphobe. So plain English, please.

Thank you.

Stinker.

I'm afraid I can't help, but I can say that I have the same phone on the same contract as you and I have found YouTube to be useless too.

Just a thought, but it could be a poor connection your using. What internet connection are you currently using?

It doesn't seem to make a difference if I use a WAP conection or my home wi-fi (which works fine on my computers).

My Youtube App works fine on WIFI, but it tells me that it can't find the codec when I use it with 3G. Same apples for Core Players built in Youtube player, but the Youtube website works fine whatever my connection. Anyone help me out there? I'm with T-Mobile.
