Installation instructions:

Do not use the setup from the windows folder!.
Install from the folder IMG your desired language version,
eg: CNEUNT2009Update_ENU.msi or CNEUNT2009Update_NLD.msi

The cards update starts automatically, cancel it, because we must first
unlock the cards. Start the Unlock Wizard, that is in your Garmin folder:
Start -> All Programs -> Software -> Unlock Wizard. If there is no unlock
wizzard, start mapsource and you can unlock the cards in the option menu.

Use the keygen to unlock with MapID: 378
Search ID of your GPS: Through MapSource -> Tools -> Apparaat_ID fetch.

Now the cards are unlocked in Mapsource, and you can now easily make routes
and cards to upload to your device...

Garmin XT Mobile 5.00.00 : Works on n96 , i have it working

installation guide :
1)copy garmin folder to root of memory card
2)install sis
3)u should know how to unlock the programm ( so as to use internal gps or any kind of bluetooth gps) and maps (so as to be able to use them for navigation)

UNLOCKING GARMIN XT MOBILE

1) open application on mobile (GUIDE HOW TO INSTALL ON OTHER FILE)

2) Launch GMXT, got to Settings -> About.

5. Make note of your UNLOCK ESN .WRITE IT SOMEWHERE.THIS IS YOUR UNIT ID

6. Launch the keygen, and type in your "UNIT ID" into the "Unit ID" field.

7. Hit Generate button to generate device unlock key.

8. Copy (CTRL+C) your generated device unlock key to the clipboard.

9. Now open the Notepad and paste (CTRL+V) the key and save the file as SW.UNL

10. Put your newly created file to your SD Card\Garmin directory and restart GMXT.

Now garmin will recognize your inbuilt gps or any bluetooth gps device

how do you do 'control c' on the n96!? Surely you mean hold down the hash key select text then select copy???

Same again, how do you 'control v' on theN96?? Don't you mean go to notepad hold down the # key and select paste???

I can't find an option in notepad to save the file as a different name? please help...



Hang on, are you are supposed to do stages 6 to 9 on your pc???? that would make sense?

Thanks for the wonderful post.. I installed it and it's working fine with my N96 and it's internal gps. But to download the maps, part 1 is missing.. Could you pls look into it?

i`ve tried `Mc Guider` and seems pretty good, whats this one like as its pain in the ass on rapidshare...
main app is there but links to the other 20 odd links (maps) have been removed from repidshare, didnt know what this app was like comparitively with Mc guider ??
