Nokia have released a general update for its Mail For Exchange software, that includes the N96 mobile.

What is Mail for Exchange and why do you need it? If all you use is POP email, then you may not, but Mail for Exchange turns your N96 into a Blackberry style device, allowing business users to connect into a work Exchange email server.

This means that if you get your mobile through your company, you do not need to have a Blackberry to get email, and you should be able to convince your IT department that a Nokia N96 will be compatible with the existing company setup. With the growth of Blackberry, this is an important marketing point for Nokia, and some of the updated features look impressive
