Nokia N96 Comes With Music
As we predicted towards the end of 2008, the N96 is now available with the Nokia Comes with Music package. At the moment it is only available at the online Nokia store for a sim free cost of £540 - £60 more than the now discounted basic N96 is available for at £480.
So some good news for those early purchasers of the N96 who are not entitled to the Comes with Music service, at least in as much as there is a premium now payable to get the music download service.
But how attractive is this deal - £60 has to get you a lot of downloads, and whilst it is an unlimited service, there is nothing else bundled with this version of the N96 over the basic product. If you are confident that you will download a heap of tunes, then this may be attractive as after all the downloads are unlimited, and with iPlayer now developed to store shows on the N96 as well, the N96 becomes a powerful media phone for those on the go.
But if you have other sources of music, the basic N96 may still be the way to go.
