Planet N96 understands that  O2 in the UK will not be handling the N96.

O2 are of course the sole carrier for the iPhone in the UK, and the decision not to stock the N96 may be seen as a way of preventing direct comparison of the two phones by its customers.

Whilst this may seem to be a blow for Nokia and the N96, the marketplace is very transparent, and it is relatively easy for consumers to compare products, particularly if they have narrowed down their decision to one of 2 phones, the iPhone or the N96.

Other carriers in the UK are yet to post and tarrif packages, and we would now expect these to come on stream with their October promotions.
