First to get a N96 - Have you got yours yet?
So the 96 limited edition N96’s have all been allocated, even though there may be some disgruntlement at the way Nokia is to release the phones to those lucky enough to win one, or committed enough to bid for one.
Have you one one, either through the free competition or by bidding for one and donating to WWF?
If you have let us know, and let us know when Nokia let you know when you can expect to recieve it.

I bid for one …. money taken from my account ….. and a week has passed with no notifications from WWF, despite sending query emails to the contact given in the Worldpay receipt email. It was interesting that the splash screeen after paying informed me that it was WWF’s responsibility to send the phone, nothing to do with Nokia (at least that’s how I interpreted it …. I’m willing to be corrected if I’m wrong)
So, money gone, no phone and not even a “thanks” from WWF.
I guess an email to my lawyer will be the next step.

Thats poor PR, for both WWF and Nokia - Did you pay by Credit Card, which would give you some protection?
I would have thought that for a promotion such as this, WWF must have been in agreement to their being the beneficary for they get the publicity along with Nokia, so it would seem odd for two large organisations to allow a lot of good publicity turn bad.
You may have heard from them now though?
