Welcome, the N96.

Thursday, September 25th, 2008

Planet N96 has had a hands on look at the N96, and boy did we like what we saw. Although many may be crying out to compare the N96 with its predecessor, the N95, the new phone looks and feels so much more.

The smooth, rounded corners give the N96 a sleek elegance, and the dual slider ends feel reassuringly solid and well built. Indeed the N96 looses none of its elegance with the ends extended; they just fit well within the device. Although not the lightest of phones at 125g, this makes the N96 feel comfortably solid and robust.

Another micro N96 site

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

Too Little SpaceNokia have been at it again, and have created another microsite for the N96, this one - Too Little Space extoling the vitrues of the large memory capacity of the N96.

There is are a number of areas to explore, and a game where you have to collect items to store on your N96 (all within the game of course) - such as music files, video, and pictures.

This shows that even with a hefty amount of files collected, there is still plenty of space left on an N96 for more. Targeted initially at the mobile phone market in India, there seems to be no restriction on who can look around the site and play the game.
